STORY
Ever since she was a child, Rosie loved to cook. So much so that, before immigrating to Canada, she owned various restaurants in Mexico where she excelled in providing quality and delicious meals to her hometown of Villahermosa, Tabasco. When she came to Canada in the mid-2000s, she was shocked to see how few Mexican restaurants there were in such a multicultural country such as Canada.
This is where the idea for El Waco Taco was born.
Generations
Rosie's love of cooking came from her mother, Celia, whose own mother taught her how to cook, and so on. Cooking is in our blood and our recipes are passed down by generations.
